The School

The Ban Chiang Kaew School is located in Tak province. It is a school where the hill tribe children study. The current school building is rundown and does not foster a positive learning environment. The roof of the school building is worn out, and the walls have so many holes that rain and winds can penetrate and tear the building apart any second. The school has no electricity and there are not enough desks and chairs. The school has 40 students ranging from ages 4 to 12 and grades K1 to 4 studying in one room. There is only one teacher to supervise the children. The children do not have proper learning materials and need these materials if they are to have a good education. The good education they get today can help them live better lives and become more capable  people.

โรงเรียนบ้านเชียงแก้วตั้งอยู่ที่จังหวัดตาก เป็นพื้นที่โรงเรียนและหมู่บ้านที่อยู่กลางภูเขา ซึ่งห่างจากตัวเมืองถึงสี่ชั่วโมง จึงไม่ค่อยมีคนเข้าไปให้การช่วยเหลือ
สภาพโรงเรียนในตอนนี้ทรุดโทรมเป็นอย่างมาก หลังคาผุพัง และผนังนั้นก็ไม่แข็งแรงพอที่จะป้องกันนักเรียนและคุญครูจากพายุฝนหรือ ลมแรงได้ ที่แห่งนี้ยังเป็นที่ที่ไฟฟ้าเข้าไม่ถึงอีกด้วย
โรงเรียนแห่งนี้มีห้องเรียนหนึ่งห้อง มีคูณครูหนึ่งคน นักเรียนทั้งหมด 40 คน ตั้งแต่อายุ 4-12 ขวบ หรือชั้นอนุบาลหนึ่งถึงชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่สี่เรียน ที่เรียนด้วยกันทั้งหมดในห้องเดียวกัน นักเรียนเหล่านี้ไม่มีอุปกรณ์การเรียนที่ดี ที่จะนำพวกเขาไปสู่อนาคตที่ดีได้ 		1

Donations

CIS is going to build a new school building for the children along with CIS Hong Kong. We would like to ask everyone to help donate money to raise for charity so we can give the money to the children to improve their education and lifestyle (aiming for 100,000 by October 2). Other than money, things you can easily donate to improve their lives are:
Teaching Tools
Learning Tools – writing books, pencils, color pencils, eraser, Thai / English text books for K1 to Grade 4
Sport equipments – football, volleyballs (the kids there don’t have any of these)
Toys – unused toys, education toys
Clothes – used clothes for kids (age 4-12 years old)
These donations will also be shared with two other schools : Ban Tee Moo School and Ban Samae School.

เนื่องในโอกาสนี้ โรงเรียนนานาชาติคอนคอร์เดียน ร่วมกับโรงเรียนนานาชาติจากฮ่องกง อยากขอความร่วมมือในการบริจาคเงินและสิ่งของเพื่อ ไปช่วยปรับปรุงสภาพความเป็นอยู่และพัฒนาการศึกษาของเด็กเหล่านี้

ท่านยังสามารถบริจาคอย่างสิ่งอย่างอื่นได้อีก เช่น
อุปกรณ์การสอน
อุปกรณ์การเรียน — สมุด ดินสอ ดินสอสี ยางลบ หนังสือเรียนตั้งแต่ อนุบาล1 ถึง ประถมศึกษาที่. 4
อุปกรณ์กีฬา — ลูกฟุตบอล ลูกวอลเล่ย์บอล (เด็กๆที่นั่นไม่เคยได้เล่นสิ่งเหล่านี้)
ของเล่น
เสื้อผ้าสำหรับเด็ก (อายุ 4-12 ขวบ)
ของบริจากเหล่านี้จะนำไปบริจาคให้สองโรงเรียนด้วยกัน ได้แก่ โรงเรียนบ้านตีหมู และโรงเรียนบ้านสะแม
